Jessica Wilkins

I was born and raised in Granville County, North Carolina. I played softball at South Granville High School and at Barton College. My family has owned and operated the Larry Mitchell Agency since 1987. I worked for the agency during the summers in high school. While in college, I received my insurance license and worked for a local agent. I came back to work for the family business full time in 2007. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to comfort people during uncomfortable times. Whether it be a house fire or reassuring a family that a loved one had life insurance – I am in the business of helping others. On the weekends, you will either find me at a local horse show or near the water! My children both ride and show horses. We enjoy going to the lake and to the beach with the family. I learned to play the piano when I was 6 years old and I still play at church on Sundays. I am a board member of the Central Carolina Western Horseman’s Association which runs horse shows for youth. I am also a member of the Providence Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary – we hold fundraisers throughout the year to donate money to help buy school supplies and Christmas gifts.

I am originally from Virginia Beach, VA but I have grown up in Creedmoor, North Carolina. I am licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance. I have been with the Larry Mitchell Agency for 26 years. I love meeting and helping my customers and watching them leave with a smile. I love spending time with my family and going on mini trips with my husband and daughter. I’m a very proud mom of a daughter who graduated from East Carolina University. Interesting fact – I have never flown on a plane before! On the weekends you will find me spending time with my family or having girl time with my daughter. I also love spending time with my life long high school friends.

I grew up in Henderson, NC. I began my career in the Insurance Industry five years ago right here at the Larry Mitchell Agency. I am licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance. I love meeting new clients and helping them find the perfect policies that fit their unique needs. It is important to me that all of our clients are happy, well taken care of and leave our office feeling confident and secure. Outside of work, I spend the majority of my free time either at the lake or at the beach with my little boy by my side. We love anything outdoors, and we absolutely love warm weather! Our weekends are spent with family. You can find us grilling out, riding on the boat, and spending quality time with the people we love!

Dawn Gooch

I grew up in the Wilton Community of Granville County, North Carolina. I have been with the Mitchell Agency since June of 1998. I am currently licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance as well as Life, Accident, and Health or Sickness. I love working with my existing clients, as well as new clients, to provide them a policy that is specific to their individual needs. Outside of the office, I love spending time with my family and friends. I have a son who is very active in baseball. I love watching him play and he keeps me very busy! On the weekends, you can either find us on the baseball field or doing something outdoors! I love my church and my church family. I enjoy helping out with any activity or event we are having.

Eden Mitchell

I grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana and graduated from Vance-Granville Community College. I have been with the Larry Mitchell Agency since Day 1! It brings me great comfort to know I am there to help others when tragedies occur in their lives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. I love to craft and I especially love cardmaking. In my spare time, you can find me working in my craft room! I am a proud supporter of the Brassfield Fire Department.

I grew up in Granville County and attended South Granville High School. I continued my education at Vance Granville Community College and graduated with a business degree. I also served as student body president. I am a founding member of the Brassfield VoL Fire Department which was started in 1984. I have served as Chief, Board President, Safety Officer and am still actively answering calls today. I am a trustee for Mt Carmel Christian Church. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and family – it’s a must!
